We can't move full time until we sell our house in Texas, but we are so excited to be moving to New Mexico.
We had planned (for the last 15 years) to move to Ruidoso (actually Alto). We ended up getting priced out of the Ruidoso area by our wealthy West Texas neighbors who are trying to find a place to spend their oil money. Being retired teachers, we needed a little better pricing. We ended up with a lot better price and are still in the mountains. I think we are going to love it. Our oldest son has lived in Albuquerque for several years and loves it. We can't wait to be permanent New Mexicans.

Congrats!

We were really looking at the East Mountain when we thought we'd be moving to ABQ. But I got a job in Santa Fe instead, and the area's just a little too far. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Congratulations on your move from this future New Mexican. Could you give us some idea of how big the house is and about what you paid?
