Anyone living with multiple sclerosis in or around ABQ? My wife has seem to always to feel better whenever she's visiting family in R.R. But we haven't been there for extended periods. This will be my last year in PA or the north east for that matter. I meet a person this past year who was originally from Mass. But his dad moved the family to ABQ in back in the 80s to because he felt the environment would be better for his mom who had multiple sclerosis.

I know a married couple who both have MS. It's an odd story, but neither had MS when they first married and they got it around the same time. They get by, but I don't routinely ask them about the disease. He has a difficult time walking and is losing some of his motor skills, but remains in good spirits.

Can't comment on ABQ specifically but I am close to someone who does incredibly better in low humidity...less exhaustion, with fewer and far less intense relapses.

Lots of variables for different folks though...MS just isn't predictable.
I've seen quite a few mentioned doing better with low humidity though so I may be a somewhat common experience.

My wife was out there last year with her girlfriend and mentioned how much better she felt. We've been talking about moving to abq since 2010. At this point her health isn't getting better and I'm ready to move anywhere that's going to help improve her health.
