For more than a couple of months there seems to be a renovation project near the Target on Lomas. Adjoining Target is a strip of what seems to be vacant storefronts. The area I'm asking about is to the immediate south. Several years ago, Michael's, the arts and crafts store was located there and more recently a sports equipment store was next to Michael's.

Nearby are a Best Buy and a Baby's R Us or similar.

This is near the southeast corner of Lomas and Eubank. I think some motels face Eubank and on Lomas there is an Applebee's and a Pet supply store.

Anyone know what if anything is slated for the space? I am hoping for a Trader Joe's (just as I was when Raley's closed at Tramway and Lomas). I don't think the demographic would support a Whole Foods...

I'm a regular customer at that particular Target and I'd noticed the construction on that building while shopping there a couple weeks ago and had meant to inquire about it with the cashier when I was done with my shopping but had gotten distracted and forgot. Anyway I drove by it an hour ago while I was out running an errand since it was nearby and it turns out, it appear that they're making some serious renovations on the building to make way for an, At Home Web | The home décor superstore providing endless possibilities at an unbeatable value.

Thank you for your reply and the link. That is one huge space if they will be using what was both stores!
