Husband dreams of living in the Southwest. He works in environmental science. I am a nurse. I see a lot of posts about the job market being not so great in ABQ. I am wondering if this is a general phenomenon or specific to certain careers.

What is the health care job outlook? What are the best places for nurses to work? Any info would be appreciated.

Nurses are always in high demand. Check the Presbyterian and UNM Hospital websites for job postings.

As mentioned above, nurses are in high demand. I know several that are gainfully employed and doing well.

Anything medical in NM, esp. Albuquerque, is in short supply.
You'll have NO problem.
