This is a good thing from an artistic standpoint. They will be able to craft the story to a logical and (hopefully) satisfying ending.
I guess I have to agree with you, but I will miss both of them. They are the only two series I watch on non-premium TV (premium being HBO, Showtime, etc). I am so crazy about Breaking Bad right now.
Good news BrBa fans... BrBa back for a sixth season!!! And thank goodness too, this is easily the best series on television today, and it gets better with every episode.

That gives us fans plenty of time to wean ourselves from the addictive drama. Currently halfway through its fourth season, Paul says the best is yet to come...
Can't believe Season 4 will be over at 9PM tonite... I'm sure we'll be blown away and have hella questions when Season 5 starts next late July next year...

can't believe I have to wait a year to catch season 5.
Since we moved to ABQ, we started hearing about "Breaking Bad". We didn't want to start watching it in season four already, so we have been watching season one on Netflix.
We love, love, love this show! The writing is amazing, and the lead actor used to be on Malcolm in the Middle. We didn't even recognize him at first since his character is so different.
In the first episode, Walter was working at that ugly Octopus on Menaul. How exciting to recognize the places we see as well.
