If I ever had to stay in Albuquerque again I'd probably pick Studio 6 even though the wi-fi password is an extra $5.99/2-week stay (Motel 6 has their usual $2.99/day charge for the wi-fi password and most Motel 6's don't discount that even if you pay their weekly rate). I'd pick it because it's up there towards Rio Rancho without being in the price range OF Rio Rancho itself and is the only Studio 6 anywhere near Santa Fe. But that's only because as a public school math teacher I don't want anything to do with APS if at all possible because I don't want to have to try to teach gang-banger riff-raff and try so hard to keep away from living right next to them. I'm not being a "snob," I'm being a WOMAN and no in part of Albuquerque have I ever felt safe so far -- not like Santa Fe or even Gallup.

Anyway - back to my original point. Studio 6 is a Motel 6 chain and as everyone else on this forum recommends, stay with National Chains to be on the safe side. Motel 6 is the cheapest national chain (although I just read about a bedbug infestation in the Roswell location, so being a national chain doesn't guarantee perfection!)

I don't see you as being a snob, but I do see an enormous chip on your shoulder. Your posts in previous threads bear this out.

It would've been great if you would've just stuck to your point, in this thread and the others I've seen where you go off on your weird tangents.

I actually think we can count ourselves lucky in Albuquerque that we don't have a horrible teacher with a crappy attitude like you teaching our "gang-banger riff-raff" in APS.

Is the Non-Smokers Motel on Central near Old Town still around? Stayed there many years ago and while not fancy, it was clean and big rooms.
