Does it say something that they don't live in their own jurisdiction, but choose Sandoval/Rio Rancho rural instead?

Hey, I like having those cop cars parked in driveways only a couple of blocks or so near our rental. For some reason makes me think there might not be too much property crime in this area.

OKay.. so on the real.. I have lived in Metro Phoenix for years.. NOW there is a city full of [mod] Please no bashing, name calling, slurs, attacks, inappropriate or obscene language...[/mod] ABQ, is fairly safe, majority of the shootings here last yr or so have been by the police... Kinda like L.A. in the 90s... The southside of ABQ can be a little ghetto-ish.. I live in the NW area of town near Cottonwood mall.. not much if any crime here.. ... just like any city with 500,000 plus ppl.. there are some bad fish in the sea... hope i helped..

Statistically incorrect, you got the real numbers?

Safest Areas seem to be the far NE Heights area, North Valley, Corrales/Rio Rancho. Next would have to be the Nob Hill area, Altura Park area. Least safe International District (War Zone), South Valley, Downtown at Night.

No way is downtown in the same category as the other two. It is very safe, even at night.

Like anyplace, ABQ is pretty darn safe...

.. unless you are engaging to risky criminal behavior.
