And it is also last year's schedule. APS schools start on Aug. 20th this year which is 8 days later than last year.

That's too bad about the entire RR district starting so much later. They're going to have to make all those days up which may mean a shorter winter break and staying longer at the end of the year. The state used to count the hours, so they could have made up part of the time by adding some extra minutes to each school day, but starting this year, the state is counting days, not hours.

I drove by that school and let me say.... My god that has to be one of the states nicest after Atrisco Heritage.

When we were there, out daughter wasn't in school yet, but I guess it makes sense that Albuq and RR are similar. I guess I was comparing it to schools back east, esp. when I was in school in southwestern PA...
