Found out today that High Finance, at the top of the tram, will be open for lunch on Christmas Day, from 11:00-3:00, reservations not accepted.

I wish all those folks at these restaurants were able to stay home on Christmas and spend time with their families. Nothing personal to anyone on the forum, its just depresses me when I see minimum wage workers having to work on Christmas.

I went to Burger King one Christmas morning to get breakfast and I could tell the employees hated being there. It was sad to see.

Good luck on your quest though. I've seen lots of signs on restaurant windows showing Christmas hours. I just can't recall which ones.

Some people don't have families, or are not religious, or are a different religion.

Or some people should have realized that when the best you are able to do is a minimum wage shift at a fast food joint, working on holidays is part of the job.

I bet the managers or executives at those fast food joints aren't working on Christmas.

I am sure some are not. A benefit of being a manager or executive. Employment is like a food chain, it sucks to be at the bottom.

I am not trying to sound elitist and if a holiday is important to someone they should schedule vacation ( if possible ) to get the day off. If they don't like working holidays that's motivation to do well and get promoted so they can have luxuries like time off and make a living wage.

ABQ has no shortage of poorly educated workers who will be doing shifts at fast food joints and call centers over the holidays.

I didn't mean to start a rant. It just sickens me to see people having to work on days such as this. I am a executive in ABQ and have done everything in my power to make sure all my employees have the day off. They all make under $10 an hour, but they will be home on Christmas. Plus, I was able to force the company to pay them holiday, so they wont lose any money. Sometimes, good will goes a lot farther than a couple extra bucks.
