Default Roadrunner Sightings and Discussions

I still get a kick out of seeing roadrunners, but this one really cracked me up. I caught him sunning as I was running errands near Jefferson and I-25. One of Uncle Cliffs' roller coasters is in the background. I know Mike Horrell has some great Roadrunner shots that could go here. Anyone else?

Boy, I WISH I had some good shots.

This is what I've got that's at least presentable..

Bosque del Apache about a month ago..

Our house is a regular stop on the Road Runner Highway but I almost never
have a camera at hand. We've seen hunting parties of up to three road runners
crossing the street with lizards in their beaks.

A couple more here..

What we lack in roadrunners in Ruidoso is made up for by the number of deer wandering the neighborhoods.

Rich - that photo taken in "the side yard" is a gem!

I love to see them too! I can't wait until I can find my camera and capture them in pixels.
I hear you can toss them lil balls of frozen hamburger as a treat.
