Maybe...binge drinking is very bad for the body, too. That's why I don't drink at all.
The body doesn't need alcohol.
The body doesn't need a lot of things and yet, how many of us can say we put nothing in our body it doesn't need. If someone claims that, they are probably kidding themselves.. Most of us do not binge drink either, that is normally for the very young...Or the person who has a drinking problem..Do you put desserts into your body, or how about caffine?
I am glad you take such good care of your body. I wonder how much longer it will last than those of us who enjoy our wine, beer or scotch...

I wonder how many people here talking about "evil" alcohol also drink soda and/or eat fast food, are smokers or don't excercise or do other things that are unhealthy.
I enjoy drinking (in moderation!). I actually like the taste of many types of alcoholic drinks and enjoy the relaxing affect since I'm a somewhat tense and stressed out person a lot of the time. I also know how to limit myself and not let it control my life.
And for the record, I work out regularly and eat healthy most of the time and almost never drink soda or eat fast food and don't smoke. I'm not about to let somebody else tell me how "bad" alcohol is.

Studies show they don't live any longer than the people that indulge a bit.
I frequently drink organic beers and ales from local breweries. There is a lot more quality control about what goes into these brews than the toxins found in plastic bottles and bottled water.
Unless you drink non-alcoholic beer, the ethanol in those organic beers is toxic.... if toxicity is your concern.
