I don't do anything more than an occasional beer, but I try new ones when I get the chance on recommendation. This has led to good and bad discoveries.

Beyond anything named "Budweiser", the worst for me was Fat Tire. No head of foam, no real bubble action, and flat tasting. No after taste, either. I thought it might have been a bad tap or whatnot, so I tried it again someplace else at another time, and same result.

My opinion of any gin I ever had tasted. But, I drank vodka gimlets for many years. Also, scotch and water, Grand Marnier (sp), and Crown Royal. I haven't drank much of anything for 15 years or better. I like a glass of wine sometimes or a glass of vermouth or a drink like a Margharita or Pina Colada, if we go out to dinner which is about once a year.....LOL.

Default Bad Margarita

I made the mistake of ordering a margarita from a British pup style bar in San Diego once.
They put freaking vermouth in it and made it undrinkable.
I don't drink any alcoholic beverages at all any more and can't stand being near drunk people as well as cigarette smokers.

I know this thread is about the worst drinks but, this post reminded me of something. During the cocktail hour at the Grand Hotel d'Angkor in Cambodia, I ordered a vodka tonic. I don't know the brand of vodka that was used but it was like silk going down.
For the 3 days that I was there, I ordered the vodka/tonic every evening and the drink was always the same in being so smooth but, I could never find out the brand of vodka.

Years ago, my next door neighbor and I were both single parents and we seldom went out on Saturday nights....sometimes after the kids settled down for the night, we would buy a six pack of some beer and I can't rmember the name but, it was $1.99 a six pack, this was in the 1970's and it was like drinking colored water but it was cheap...LOL. It may have been Blatz....not bad, just bland though I wasn't much of a beer drinker.

I went to a bar in East Village that had a lychee martini on the menu. Thinking it'd be a good idea, I ordered one. It was like trying to drink sewer water, it was so bad.

Never again.

Heinekin and Amstel Light. If one were to ever drink "recycled beer" , it would probably taste like either of these two gems.

Kentucky Bourbon. I can't remember the name. It tasted overly sweet to begin with and then it had an aftertaste like gasoline. Absolutely terrible

I could go on and on here...cheap gin...cheap alcohol is not worth it. Definitely never have cheap tequila.
