Heh... OP was talking about drinking a beer, 8 different times, once gets this reaction.

so maybe its some type of allergic reaction?
No, the group i mentioned ruled that out too. It seems to be a physiological response to a specific kind of food or drink stimulus in the mouth. Kind of like brain freeze headaches, when you eat ice cream too fast, but involving the salivary glands rather than the soft palate.

No worries. It happens at least once in eight times.

BUT, i have noticed that sometimes my nose feels stuffy after some beers. i think it depends on what type of hops is used in the beer....i know my wife is the same way, after a couple of hoppy beers, she sounds like she's sick cause she is so stuffed up.....

so maybe its some type of allergic reaction?

Yes! I also get a stuffy nose when I drink beer. I use Afrin and it's all good.

Default If it hurts don't do it

I'm confused as to why you would continue to do something that causes pain. It seems pretty simple to me. Don't drink beer.
