I need to buy a bottle. Anything you'd recommend, maybe $15-$25?

I would go to a really good Wine Store and ask them. Wine store associates have never disappointed me with their recommendations.

I'm not a Vinho verde fan generally, but try Muralhas de Moncao Vinho Verde '14

Its surprisingly good, and cheaper than $15.

Thanks, guys. (Not too cheap, I hope. Don't want to seem like a miser!)

Used to buy Lancers (rose) when I was a kid. My dates were impressed by the bottle (something different)...

My input is late, but maybe next time ...

It depends on how the wine is to be used. Porto (port) is good for the end of a meal or with dessert, and the Portuguese are the port experts. Fonseca Bin no. 27 is very good at $20 or less.
