9 new bars have recently opened in Seattle and the local newspaper has an article describing them. I have yet to go to any of these but if I had to choose one based on the descriptions I think I’d go with Black Cat. Which one sounds best to you?
Probably BlackCat. I grew up in a family of bar owners. My parents owned a neighborhood bar. My great-grandparents (and their sons) owned a neighborhood bar. I've had a thing for divey, neighborhood bars before it was a thing. This seems to be the closest.
I have to say though that the actual bar doesn't have much seating.

I think that's because the space used to be a restaurant that they then converted to a bar on the cheap. So there's more table space then a typical bar would have. Although the bar does seat about a dozen total.
I lived in White Center for 17 years, sold my house last year. The Lumber Yard is LGTB friendly but still cool if you're hetero.
Narrow bar upstairs, go downstairs and and sit outside in a enclosed patio. The owners are very involved and will share the story of the year long endeavor to open that bar. If you want to do a crawl you also have Dotties, Double Wide, the Locker Room, and Noble Barton. All have good drinks and food.
