Use to drink this and enjoyed it. Recently found Bud Light mixed with Clamato Juice. Really tasty. Only problem is 25oz is the only size. Primarily a Mexican drink so you have to look for it but do try Beer and Tomato juice. Mx portion to suit your own taste. Beer and Bloody Mary mix is interesting also.

This is called a Michelada. The kind with the tomato juice is popular in Texas, especially south Texas. The original from Mexico called for just lime and salt. I make my own mix for it using v8. There are also commercial michelada mixes available.

As for using Bloody Mary mix, I recommend Zing Zang.

Pour a couple of ounces of the mix over ice, add lime and other flavors, top it off with your favorite beer, stir and enjoy. There are many variations. You could also make a blood mary and add beer to it, same thing basically.

Beer and V8 with a couple of big stuffed green olives.
Was my go to drink in college.

Back when the bars had big glass jars of pickled eggs and pigs feet and a shuffleboard table along the front wall.

Bars with names like "zig in, zag out" and "dew drop in".

Man, I guess I miss the 60's.

I've had it a few times when others were drinking it, but I've never mixed my own. Funny thing, one was made with tomato juice, one V8, and the other Clamato.

I was too young to drink in the 1960s, but I remember the jars of eggs and pig's feet. There were also small bags of snacks like beer nuts and blind robins stapled to cardboard behind the bar.
