But literally: in which countries

I have been to both Italy and Poland twice. Soon I am going to Ireland but quit drinking because it doesn’t agree with my medication. Poland has many great liquors and Italy excellent wine.

We had the great pleasure of tasting wine in Italy and Croatia just before the COVID virus interfered with everyone. Croatia has some really nice wines to offer, but nobody thinks of it as a wine region.

Here in Germany there are quite a lot of Croatian restaurants, serving Croatian wine.

I was fortunate enough to be able to travel frequently, for both work and personal reasons. Enjoyed it and it was a very fulfilling and educational experience!

From your list, I have enjoyed wine and beer from the following: USA, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, England (but not Scotland), and other, including Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, Japan and several Caribbean islands.
