Retro beer - Most recently back on the market and as good as it was 35 years ago - Hauensteins, "The beer with a little character," and the old Minnesota classic - Grain Belt Premium.
Just a little warning to the wise - Budweiser has this Bud Xtra drink out. It's a Beer Energy Drink. DON'T BUY IT. It takes like rotten berries with an aftertaste of some liquid normally flushed down a toilet.
Though, I have to admit that nothing is better than getting super fresh beer at the Anheuser-Busch facility in Williamsburg.
I'm partial to Labatt's Blue. However, one of the downsides to living in NYC is that I have yet to find a local place that sells it (there may very well be one, but I haven't found it yet). As such, I usually find myself drinking Coronas instead. One of these days, I'll gather up the courage to try one of those Belgian beers I keep hearing about.
