they tried it in the '80's. I worked at a very upscale restaurant then. It didnt seem to go over very well then........on the other hand, my fave wine bar in Orlando does it, and it seems to be wildly popular, so who knows?

I think that the two places in the Orlando are that have the "tap" system are different than this one. I love the Wine Room in Winter Park because I can wander around at my leisure and choose from 150 different types of wine without waiting for a bartender.

No, but I just read that Box wine is now being referred to as Cask wine, so can a wine tap be far behind?
I am a wine snob. I'll admit it. But I had a box wine (red Bordeaux blend) a month or so ago in a blind tasting that I gave 88 points. Great QPR, it would work out to about $10/bottle. I never in a million years would have tried it if it hadn't been blind, but actually will consider it next time I'm having a big party.
