2 mos ago, I started experiencing a horrendous ordeal OUT OF THE BLUE for no reason:
- throat-closing feeling (at start of last 2 mos)
- bronchi feeling inflamed
- labored breathing / shortness of breath, etc.
- had to breathe w/ mouth open
- hard time eating due to other symptoms
- nasal congestion on/off (only symptom for more like the last year)
After 1 ER visit, 2 gen dr, visits, & now 1 pulmonologist visit, I'm in the process of having more tests run. So I've been prescribed this Asmanex Twisthaler to start using soon, even though it's not confirmed I have asthma or not. It's a type of steroid, which I'm wary & somewhat reluctant about using.
Anyone have any tips, comments about the use of it AND any side effects you've had?
