Does anyone know if there is a natural way to remove a sun damage spot? It started like a small bump - almost like a tiny wart, but it's not a wart and has started to get a bit crunchy.
I have shown it to a doctor and he said it's not cancerous now but can change to cancer as I age.
Change to cancer as you age? Anything can change to cancer. Blood cells, brain cells, etc.
As a melanoma patient from long ago (1988) the bigger the lesion - the more surrounding tissue may be needed to remove. I always ask my skin lady to go ahead and freeze off scary brown things that don't need biopsy. Is it with nitrogen? Had laser, too.

I have used a teeny little bit of Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) in various strengths. I have been doing my own facial/neck peels with glycolic, lactic and TCA peels for years. I love the results, but it must be done with EXTREME caution if doing it yourself for you can cause a serious burn. There is one by my right eye - ug. I love watching them basically "peel" off! If not careful out in the sun, they will come back. Something to do with the melanin in the upper dermis, I believe?
I am going to mix some TCA and apply today. Leave fan on in front of my face until it stops burning and the process begins. I will then turn brownish crusty and just look a mess for the next two weeks until healing and then: wow.
I have read of lemons - but it is too drying for me. Iodine, not sure which - the topical or oral type? How much? Etc.
I used to also have dermabrasion which helped greatly - but so costly.
Whatever you decide, be sure to cover that area 24/7/365 with a gentle - pure - BLOCK. Put a bit on nose too, just in case.
I had a biopsy done of my nose and Dr said "no, this looks bad...I am certain it is cancer." And handed me a brochure about the surgical future of my nose.
My biopsy came back clean and I wonder if it is due to all of my home facials with TCA and all that?
Did you see a dermatologist? Try a prescription retinoid like retin a.
And whatever advice your dermatologist gave you, please follow it. Sunscreen can be applied from below your eyes down and you'll need either a hat, visor, or umbrella to keep the sun off the top of your head.
Are you outdoorsy? If so you have to take extra precaution. Also you might consider getting car windows uv treated if they're not already.

It's on my face above my eyebrow.
thanks!
Get another opinion. I had something I would have described the same way and it was cancer.
On another forum I learned about an amazing black salve.
$25 for a 1 ounce jar. I ordered it at Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage.
They don't carry it , but are asked so often for it, can easily get for you.
Oh, it must have bloodroot in it..it does.
If you google 'cancer cure black salve youtubes", you will be amazed.
The best is
the one with a pictorial of day one thru about day 20? Of actual cancer on
the tip of the nose of a man maybe from New Zealand.
You will see amazing photos of it going thru many phases as it heals...even the crater
naturally fills in...so much better than surgery,,,that he knows would have taken so much of his nose.
It can work on many skin issues, wouldn't have to be cancer.

Thanks for reminding me this - I heard of it after a friend tried it years ago but forgot about it...I will see what the doc says and then try this if I need to.
