You can naturally treat kidney stones with some supplements. Of course water is the most important thing for kidney stones. But the most important supplement in my opinion after that is Magnesium.

This is a ratio issue. When magnesium is too low in the tissues when compared to Calcium you will get calcium deposits in kidneys. Magnesium keeps calcium in suspension. Additionally, eating a diet too high in sodium will lower magnesium levels.

Some supplements that help to retain Magnesium is vitamin B6. Vitamin K2 can help you move the suspended calcium in the blood stream into bones for better absorption.

I can attest to the importance of magnesium for kidney stones. My ex husband had kidney stones and I put him on magnesium and never again did he get a kidney stone. For the doubters, yes, I know that is not proof but it seemed to have worked for him.

Yes, it is very logical. Glad to hear your husband has not had to go through that again. Some of the earliest signs we are getting low on magnesium is insomnia and cramping especially along with a pain in the kidney area.
