Have any of you been successful in curing toenail fungus with apple cider vinegar?

No, but there are so many claims on ACV for so much. Give it a chance. But I've heard of many other remedies for fungus issues. I have a toe fungus issue for years and have tried many things, still have the fungus. Don't want to take the suggested drugs.

It's true there are a lot of remedies I've read about also. I've tried a few.

I had a problem a few years ago with one toe nail. It wasn't real bad but I decided to try one thing I read about and that is Vicks Vaporizing Rub. Sounds crazy I know but I would rub some on the nail at night and put a band-aid over it. It's not a quick fix. It took a while but eventually it cleared up and I haven't had any trouble since.

I also had a problem with one nail on my hand. This time I did 2 things. I used the Vicks sometimes and also soaked it in a small cup of vinegar. This worked also.

For foot problems, I have also heard of people soaking their feet in Listerine. It should be the original amber colored Listerine.

I had tried a bottle of Pro Clearz brush on liquid which is suppose to be for these types of problems but I didn't feel that it did anything for me.

All you can do is experiment and see what works for you.

Good Luck

A friend's podiatrist told her to dilute clorox and soak her toe and it worked...it was not a bad case, I've tried this for a while but it didn't do much. She did it twice a day for a while.

I'm doing that, too. Also tea tree oil. If it clears up, I won't know which one did the trick. But I won't care, I don't guess.

I wish I had done something sooner but I didn't realize that was what it was. I thought I had just injured my toenail.

I use Vicks on my feet nightly and add drops of tea tree oil or oil of oregano to the vicks jar. Wear socks to sleep of course.

I cannot wear socks to sleep in...my feet will get so hot! I pretty much can't put them under the covers either.

agree about the socks, I can't even sleep with time in the winter: Right now, I spend most of the night with nothing more than a sheet over me. As for the vinegar: I have heard it used as a cure but no personal experience: It would not hurt to give it a try.

Update: ACV did not not work...neither did tea tree oil or Vicks. What worked was this:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Ma...fl-oz/17324923

Applied it every day until it was gone. Be sure to apply liberally and get it up under the edge of the toenail also. It does take a while...a few months. You have to be consistent and persistent.

That's great and the price is sure right. My toenail fungus is gone but I worked with Clorox and Vicks for some time.
