There is sugar SUGAR in everything and much is hidden and finally I've gotten to where I don't go out of my way to eat more SUGAR...like candy, cookies, pies, cakes, donuts, ice cream etc etc....I did those all for most of my earlier life. I'll buy some ice cream now and then and eat it sparingly. I've paid for the sugar overload on my body.

You mentioned a pint of gelato a week, so you definitely eat more sugar than I do. And yes I remember that because you always go on about how you don't eat sugar.

But I still don't understand what you said "Sugar, sugar SUGAR."

Sugar is not hidden, it's on the label

"Hidden" sugars might be sugars that are called by other names. Examples are corn syrup, barley malt, rice syrup. Then there is sugar that a lot of people don't expect like added sugars in granola bars or peanut butter. If you want peanut butter minus the sugar, you usually have to grind your own from peanuts. Sugar is even in cereals, for some reason--if I want sugar on my cereal, I can add it myself--I don't need them to put it there for me.

All those sugar cereals is a major reason for all the kids jumping all over the classrooms and then given the ADHD label.

L.M. I can't remember what I said but I know I some times buy a pint of gelato once or twice a month and then some months none. I don't keep track of others info, it's not a lot of my business. I just give out info and opinions. What others do is their business. If they offer their info, I listen and often give a comment, sometimes not.

You are absolutely right:
Dr Otto Warburg, Nobel Prize Winner
Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Otto Warburg, during his research at the Max Planck Institute for Cell Physiology, made a major discovery regarding the difference between cancerous and normal cells. At work in his lab in Berlin-Dahlem in the 1960s he saw that it was alkalinity that marked one from the other. Normal cells, he concluded, absolutely needed oxygen and were alkaline, while cancer cells lived without oxygen and affected tissues were acidic.

And sugar is very much acidic!!!
