Glocosamine works for me, have taken it for years, give it a try.
I quit taking Fish Oil and went to intentionally eating more seafood.
I can't get enough sea foods and since learning about UPPING my Omega 3's I feeling flexible in my damaged knee and it's been thru the mill in the last year. On top of the OA in it, the infection....
The product specialist at Jarrow said it was fine to double dose on the Omega 3's and I'm being pretty faithful there now...I don't bruise nor bleed and so far a bit more flexible and it's not been that long since up dosing.
I've taken Omega 3 off and on for some yrs and would miss months at a time...so now I'm consistent and feeling for the changes.
A dear friend who walked all over town until she died at 95 swore by glucosamine product she took for many yrs...
So for me the Cosamin DS and upped dose of Omega 3's, I'm feeling more optimist about no knee surgery....ahhhhh....
When I do buy sea foods, I buy Wild Caught Salmon and when it's on sale...otherwise it's very pricey...I get a little seafood in my sushi fix but it's minimal and avoid the tuna for the most part...we don't know what were getting in our fish today. From all the plastics polluting the oceans and the fish consuming plastics, good grief....
Just as an interesting side note, my GF just tested positive for mercury poisoning, and from eating very little fish. We are quite surprised!
Was she having symptoms that could be attributed to mercury poisoning? Just curious, as I don't think they routinely check for increased levels of mercury unless there is some evidence of mercury poisoning.

Yeah, she was having some mild symptoms, but we are kinda surprised they went straight for a mercury test. Maybe because she is Japanese.

Just talking to my friend who is in later 60's and she said "wonder why younger people don't have as much inflammation" and I can only only think the longer we eat Omega 6's foods the more inflammation our bodies collect. Makes sense to me.
I use a pendulum and muscle test to question some of my issues and since the staph infection mess and damaged knee I can't help but wonder if the infection might still be there or is it all inflammation and so did some testing last night and thankfully I got it's Inflammation...which I'm working on.
Because as you get older your body and immune system do not work as well.

I had symptoms from high mercury levels many years ago from old amalgam fillings and had them all removed and replaced. Problems went away.
This was lab confirmed.

.
It works for my husband, too, for stiffness/arthritis in his fingers. I didn't help any of my stiffness/achy joints, though.
