Talking to some others who have and are working to quit their Smoke Habits and talk about their painful lungs, I did a search and found this just now. Tried to get my son in law on Grape Seed Extract years ago but he poo poo'd it and he was gone in 6 months after lung cancer dx. He was 55 and didn't see his kids grad from high school or enter college. All the drugs did not save him.

What Are the Health Benefits of Dried Grape Seed Extract? | Healthy Eating | SF Gate
Hey Jam and thanks for the first article! I have saved it to refer back to, before a trip to the vitamin store. I’m very sorry to hear about your SIL, some folks just have a closed mind against anything that is not allopathic medicine. It may cure, but maybe not and if it were me, every option would be considered, not just the mainstream options.

I’m on my second bottle of grape seed extract and take two daily. Haven’t used my inhaler in months, but allergies are kicking in something fierce today. Headache, mild fever, face feels puffy, stuffy nose, sneezing, dry scratchy throat. Been doing a lot of yard work and that dosen’t help.

Same with my friend who has asthma, she hardly uses her inhaler.

Funny, not really but interesting, I hardly blew my nose for like 20 yrs and then the last year or less, I have a lot of morning mucus...I guess things change in the body -- has for me on this issue. But I blow it out in the morning and that's about it for the rest of the day. Could be foods. But certainly no need for drugs. For your issue right now maybe double the dose for a while and see what goes. Yard work can do a job with all the plants/weeds etc...take care and touch base now and then.

You’re very lucky not to have sinus issues, I’ve been on a thread started by Good4nuthin and found out that the Flonase I used to have prescribed, causes you to lose your sense of smell. It’s a good thing I never finished the bottles.

You’re right, I’ve been eating more junk foods lately and will cut back. Seems like doing hard physical work makes me crave a quick boost like a cookie or chips. I’ll increase the GSE to four and see what happens. Good to hear from you!
