any tips on how to protect or help one's lungs in the current air pollution situation in the Bay Area (CA)?
i put on a dust mask when i go out; wondering if there are any health alternatives to keep affected lungs--nose irritated before "news" to put on a dust mask came out--clean and non-toxic. the rating of air pollution now is pretty high, but thankfully, not the highest so far. it's in the "200's" range.

They’re saying to use an N95 mask but of course all the stores are sold out. Not much else you can do except stay indoors or leave the region entirely.

Yes, hopefully the rain will clear the air.

I bought a bunch of N95 masks in Barstow on our way back from Arizona. Might be handy for next year's fires.

My sister was having a horrible time because of asthma and the smoke. We Skype yesterday and all her symptoms cleared up with the rain.

Wishing CA many more rainy days!
