Looking for info, I stumbled *no pun intended, onto POSTURAL RESTORATION CENTER.
not too familiar with any of it and it seems to become very technical unless you are really familiar with skull, neck, pelvis, etc actions and brain signaling?
I came away knowing I needed some really good supportive sneaks that can basically retrain my foot to pronate and discover the ground beneath my foot. Right foot. Left foot is ok.
I cannot afford an appt for asssessment, procedures/therapies just yet. But I did settle on two supportive shoes and purchased low arch support for new ice skates.
I watched some of the vids on site, youtubes, etc and I wish there was a layman's version.
I feel my odd foot issue - found during ice skating lessons - may help me to not only find the ground beneath my foot - but the ice as well.
Anyone familar with this? Anyone have an extremely odd arch that does NOT hit the ground after stepping? and know why it threw everything else off?
thanks.
