In the Bahamas, Bermuda, and some of the islands like Jamacia and Barbados there is a small remnant of whites descended from the original British settlers remaining. what are these whites like culturally and in terms of social attitudes?

Actually, in Jamaica there is a large white population and other than skin color, they are no different than any other Jcans. We could get into the classism issue if you'd like, but that's for another thread.
Caribbean whites aren't different culturally from any other race of Caribbean people. They mostly (with minor exceptions like Portuguese descended or Italian descended whites) have very deep roots in the Caribbean for obvious reasons being that their ancestors are the reason all other races are in the Caribbean today.
They are at the top of the social strata and generally tend to be wealthy. I live in the Caribbean and have never met a local white who was anything below lower middle class (lower middle even is quite rare). They retain significant (multi-generational) control of the local economy and are therefore a very important and influential minority.

This is probably true in most Caribbean islands because whites are a tiny minority, but in the three Spanish Caribbean countries, which is where probably over 90% of Caribbean whites live, there are plenty of whites that live in lower middle class and even in poverty, abject poverty.
And from what I understand the Chinese are right below the whites in the economic latter. They are mostly business owners, and are quite influential in the Reggae Scene. I hope that is true.

Culturally Caribbean...that's the way to describe them. Well, that's at least true for the non-Hispanic islands, as I wouldn't really speak for the Hispanic ones.

Hmmm, perhaps for Jamaica. In other islands, groups like the Syrians & Lebanese do very well.

People forget how multicultural the Caribbean, especially Jamaica is. You have Jamaicans of not only African, but Asian Indian, Chinese, European ancestry. And quite a few of them.
