I couldn't vote for just one. Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador would be my top choices.

Could say Guatemala, Peru and Argentina also.

But watch the polls are going to show the SAME OLE SAME OLE OVERRATED countries.. Mexico, Brasil and more Mexico..
Hence .... Large population of immigrants in US or just wild guesses because of the familiar names people only know about. #reality
I strongly agree with you.

I think it depends on what you are interested in. I have been to Puerto Rico and did not find the place very interesting. Colombia is very cool, but you know what, so are Mexico and Brazil.

If you are into art, history, and cuisine, Mexico is bursting at the seems in all of this. Brazil has an amazing music scene, fun beach culture, and also lots of history and culture.

I would love to visit Guatemala. I spent a month in Costa Rica and it is beautiful, but I love countries with a strong artistic sense and culinary culture, so it didn't leave an impact on me

Hmm let’s see, which LATAM country has movies made about them, about their country, and about their culture? Which one has songs made about them by great artists from other countries? Let’s see, which one is on the top ten of countries with most unesco sites? Which one is in the top ten most visited countries in the world and most visited in LATAM? Which one is consistently in the top ten best cuisines in the world in any reputable list? Which country along with everything I already mentioned also has a site as one of the seven wonders of the modern world, and one of the most advanced ancient civilizations at their time? Which one has rich traditions adopted even by other countries? Yeah, I think we know which one it is, and only hateful people from other LATAM countries who suffer from an inferiority complex will say otherwise lol.

Whenever I try to picture South America before 1940, I see Colombia. Other SA countries are out-ward lookimg -- seeking to emulate the first world. But Colombia seems to feel comfortable with its South American body language.

Well they are big countries . Together makes up half the population of South and Central America. So even if they are only proportionally interesting that should earn them half of the total votes

Agree with many of those who said all of them. I think almost every one of them have great cultural dynamics and are impressive.

Some personal favorites of mine that I've experienced include, Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. My experience in Mexico is limited only for one day.

Personal favorites: Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, and Brazil.

If I could choose only one? It would have to be Mexico, followed closely by Guatemala.

I adore Mexico, also find Brazil, Peru and Argentina very interesting but I think Colombia encompasses a bit of every Latin American nation and tribe and even the wider Americas which makes it rather special and all encompassing.
