I am not a fan of Central American cities, but there are somethings that I noticed about San Salvador compared to other capitals in the region. In S.S you don't see the same amount of hill side slums that you see in Guatemala city or in Tegucigalpa. The city also seems a bit cleaner, more organized and has much more trees and green areas than other cities in the region. Infrastructure in S.S is also much better.
