Wouldn't it be better to create a thread about development in Haiti? I think that sould be more effective over the long term in presenting the changes that Haiti is going through instead of creating a new thread for each new news.

While I understand the OP's point of view, it does come off as marketing rather than informative.

I would like to see Haiti makes some strides in redeveloping the island and the information posted is useful but it really only registers as marketing BS. Express your personal views, try to demonstrate the changes and offer a little more opinion on the subjects.

More people may engage the topic allowing everyone to win (tourists and locals).

PS: I second the idea offered by Antonio of having a "Haitian Economic & Environmental Development" thread where you can post and interact with other forum members about the positive happenings on the island.
