Good morning! I am so happy to have found this forum (this is the first time I've ever entered anything in any forum) as I believe you all might have some answers for me or ideas at least! I am looking for a temperate city or town to relocate to in the US BUT - I want to be on a bigger lake - the view of the water is key for me. I live on Lake Michgan now - near Green Bay - but the winters are too much now and I was disabled in a car accident last year. At 54 I'm not physically disabled (had a traumatic brain injury) so I can get around - but it's simply too hard to handle this land during the winter ...I would take a lake - any lake bigger than a pond - if I can get a great front and center water view. Any state - looking for year round temps to be between 35 and 85 (with some deviation I realize) but lower humidity. Any ideas?
THANK YOU TO ALL!

Hmm I'm not from the US but I guess you could try narrowing your search to non-alpine lakes of California, Oregon and Washington. These states have tons of lakes all over, and as long as they are not very high in elevation, they tend to have a pleasant, mild climate year round . There's also lots of towns and communities around these lakes from what I know.
