- Maduro said new currency notes should be reaching Venezuela and entering circulation soon, despite what he called an "international sabotage" operation to prevent that. He gave no further details of that accusation.

What an absolute plonker!

That piece of sh*t government that they have needs to go.
Let's first stop and think why the Venezuelan people elected Chavez in the first place! Or why it would come to the populace of any country to elect a socialist or communist!

The sad thing is that Venezuela starts to be beyond saving.
Remember Guatemala, they democratically elected Arbenz for President, he decided to increase the taxes on United Fruit, and we bombed Guatemala City and enlisted a dictator to run the country!

If we go ahead and oust the current leader of Venezuela, it won't be done to help the impoverished of Venezuela, it will be done for the benefit of American corporations and the Venezuelan elite who fled Venezuela for Miami, and we go right back to the days before Chavez was elected!

This is a case of picking which poison to swallow!

Oh goodness, I dare you to go to Venezuela to experience the democracy you so speak of. Tell it to the lines of people waiting for hours on end to by rice, salt and flour. You'll probably get punched in the face by the very people that elected their illustrious leader.

Chavez and Maduro destroyed Venezuela. One more time, socialism failed. They turned the country into a dictatorship.

Brazil is in the middle of a crisis, while Venezuela is in a DEPRESSION, so a lot of Venezuelans are coming to Brazil. Moving from the worst country to the bad one. Not an easy life, but at least it has more food, it's already an improvement.

Think back to pre-Chavez/Maduro, and you'll understand perfectly why they turned to these leaders! They were looking for some hope to their impoverished lives!

And yet, you didn't mention Evo Morales of Bolivia, or Correa of Ecuador, socialist success stories!

To be honest, they haven't done that badly. Bolivia especially is doing pretty well compared to what it was. However, these "power men" will very likely leave a power vacuum and weak democratic institutions once they're gone.
