The Colombia census counts 5 million people who self identify as being part of the range of identities which are (for census purposes) considered Afro Colombia. A census map shows that almost all of those so identifying, live in the coastal regions.

In fact the difficulties that the Colombia government has had in identifying how many "Afro descended" people live in that country indicates there are in fact distinctions. In one census fewer than 2% of the population responded to a category which implied Afro descendant. The following census when the definition was EXPLICITLY expanded to include more mixed categories the numbers fitting into Afro Colombian categories sky rocketed to over 10%.

So if some one in Bogota sees Keys and Snipes as both "black". Snipes will be seen as "black" so that implies that Keys will also. But this might reflect attitudes in Bogota which are dismissive of people from coastal regions. And not as some notion that they are neutral on this issue. I have seen comments which suggest that Bogota is seen as being an especially racist part of Colombia.
Are you suffering from dementia?

What is the point of constantly and repeatedly bringing the same stuff up and not letting it go? You need to see a geriatric specialist. Everyone has moved on besides you.

Something is seriously wrong with you.

Other Spanish speakers have said no such thing. In fact they make most of the fact that outsiders push ODR on them.

If you say that some one like Snipes is called the same as some one like Keys than you are implying that Keys is black. I have NEVER heard Pele being described as being any thing other than black. Juan Pena of the DR is also described as black. Leonel Fernandez of the DR, is NOT described as being black and in fact distinctions are made between them.

So the notion that Keys and Lupita are the same is really ridiculous. Keys will NEVER be called black while Lupita will be.

So let us get this straight. Are you saying that in Latin America people who have visibly signs of African ancestry are all categorized as being the same? .

You are saying that Juan Pena and Leonel Fernandez and Sammy Sosa and Alex Rodriguez are also consider "black" by Latin Americans.

Because clearly Juan Pena is black so that means that so are the others, based on all of these people being considered the same.

I just want some clarity without the insults. Think Colombia, Cuba, DR, Brazil which have large populations of peoples with varying degrees of African ancestry. What Argentines think isn't relevant.

Carib, learn to move on. You are looking demented now. Obsessed with trying to restart the same fights. Sure you don't need a nursing home,

I notice that you evade the question and resort to personal insults instead.

All you need to do is admit that you took attitudes of people in a particular location and transmit this as evidence of ethno racial categorizations throughout Latin America. This clearly leads to a misleading conclusion.

Admit it and then we can move on.

I admit nothing beyond I am done with this topic with you.

And I moved on a long time ago. If you refuse to, that is your problem.

You fully well understand that no where in Latin America would Alicia Keys and Viola Davis be considered one and the same. That's OK. I understand that you cannot admit that you were wrong. That is also OK.

Carib, you need to learn when to shut up plain and simple instead of trying to prove the same idiotic arguments. If this is all you have going you need to go the porn store to purchase some toys because it clearly shows you haven't gotten any in a long time.

You're a professional, I'm sure someone will love you if you pay them.

Sure sign when some one lost an debate and refuse to admit to themselves that they did. Now what does thus have to so with Afro Latinos? I can say a number of things about you but I am a decent person so will not.
