If military men are also suffering you will get no resistance.
are they not? Is Maduro a good leader who protects their own for you? Is there hope for the great socialism of the XX century? is not doing anything at all and letting things get worse and worse a better choice for you?
A military intervention would need CIA support. They are the ones with the resources to do a quick and clean operation.
the cost of a bus ticket is a month's salary of the average Venezuelan
new passports cannot be issued because there is no ink or paper on which to print them
buses that need repairs are laying dormant because there are no parts to fix them
people who want to leave the country must walk from wherever they live to the borders of neighboring countries
people who own property must make a tough choice: if they leave the country, they forfeit the property to the government and will never get it back
30EU (euros)/month is sufficient to maintain a small family (one or two people)
The 30EU/month thing I got from talking with a Venezuelan woman I met in Spain a few weeks ago. She sends that amount home to her parents.
My opinion is that:
Nobody should interfere with a country's internal problems. Keep in mind the old adage: If people are not ready for revolution, nothing can be done to start one. When people are ready for it, nothing can be done to stop it. .... When the people of Venezuela have had enough, they will effect change.
Military action for an economic problem does not seem appropriate.

The only reasons I can see Colombia needing to intervene with military are: (a) due to the ties between FARC and the Venezuelan government, which have always posed a security threat to Colombia; (b) if more Venezuelans decide to flock in groves to Colombia, overwhelming the latter's resources, then military might be necessary to maintain order.
There's no reason the U.S., or Canada, or any other countries should be involved.
Anyone advocating US military intervention in Venezuela is an idiot. 90% of the military intervention in Latin American & the Caribbean have made things worse for the region.

No, that is not how the world works since at least World War II. There are international laws, deals, procedures...
It has already been proven that the Venezuelan people don't have the resources by themselves to do any real harm to the dictatorship and they need external support, of many kinds.

the "economic problem" as you call it derives from the fact that Modoro is turning into a full dictator. The main reason the "economic problem" persist is because Maduro is clinging to power and nobody does anything.

Venezuela does. and Colombia, and the whole region.

No, you sound like dumb leftist being ahistorical and resorting to commonplaces. Each scenario has been very different. Modern Venezuela situation is different to that of any other country in the XX century.
If the military was suffering because of Maduro they would remove him asap.

And you accuse others of sounding like leftist, You sounds a stereotypical right winger.

The only country the US should invade is Cuba. It should be annexed like russia annexed crimea. That's prime beach front property. The soil is good for farming. Its also near the equator, so its good for space launches.

Well over a hundred years ago, we had an opportunity to buy Cuba for $10 million from Spain, why didn't we?
