All I can say is wow. Got a chance to take a tour during the middle of a fashion show event today and was quite impressed. Gorgeous rooftop pool with killer view and resto/bar, beautiful staircase (called Stairway to Heaven), nicely appointed rooms if a bit on the smaller side but with rain shower and huge television. Top restaurant as well. Charlee attracts a younger Reggaeton punk party crowd whereas ElCielo is more sophisticated. Quieter neighborhood as well.

This is probably the “Fasano of Medellin.”

Looks nice! Apparently the pool has a glass bottom.

Are you staying in El Poblado?

What other parts of Colombia have you visited?

I've been to Cali two times.

I actually really like Cali which might make me a bit of an outlier...far more tourists go to Medellin & Cartagena. That might be part of why I like Cali...the road less traveled to some degree.
