I had an opportunity to dine at D.O.M. São Paulo the other day. This is/was a 2 star Michelin Star restaurant that did not disappoint. They offer an unbelievable Executive Lunch special Monday - Friday for R$ 98 (about $20 US) that is a steal and a value vs their R$690 dinner option.
Included welcome non alcoholic fruit drink and roasted cashews, salad, choice of entree (I went for the filet mignon with fried bananas) and 3-4 sides such as roasted potatoes, rice, kale, and more….my meal ended up costing $48US because I ordered a tangerine caipirinha, bottle of water, and phenomenal mango foam coconut sorbet dessert that were in addition to the Executive Lunch special.
One of the top 3-4 meals I’ve had in my entire life.
