We saw about 18 bull moose up in Glen Alps today & could hear them banging their antlers together. So the rutting season is in full gear! Plus lots of pro photographers with heavy gear.

Yeah, what is it about Glen Alps? I saw a couple bulls pushing each other around medium style up there last year. Not sure why they concentrate in that area. Worth heading up there to check out though.

If it's foggy it's tough to see of course. But if you get up there again walk out to the powerline trail & then scope across- sometimes WAY across- or down in the trees. That's where they have been the past 3 weekends. Take binoculars!

I went out this morning. It was cold. I saw quite a few. It's just different viewing then going out to Kincaid Park. At Kincaid when you see them you don't need binoculars. They are usually just right by the trail.

Powerline Trail this morning.

Kincaid Park moose from last week.
