I was wondering do you guys have a lot of pollen as the warmer weather approaches? I am currently suffering here in GA with the spring approaching and I was just curious...??

When my wife and I visited alaska last June there was pollen in the air. Not as bad as Ga but bad enough that you could see it on calm shallow waters and on your car. This was in the Anchorage area.

Maybe not as bad as there, but alas, you will never get away from pollen! Around here there is a lot of wooded/forest areas.

I never seen any of the yellow pollen like we get in the south eastern us in Alaska. For those that don't know here is the south eastern state get a very heavy pine pollen that will cover a car and turn it yellow.

Default What bothers you? Here in southeast hemlock and cedar kick my butt

In southwest and the interior it is cottonwood and birch.

Thanks for all of the reply's.

Yes, here in Georgia, when spring arrives the car lots will have to start rinsing the cars off just so that you can tell what color they are. LOL

I realize it is not warm in Alaska yet but I was just curious in general when warmer weather approaches. Thanks for all of the feedback.

Some people with allergies have problems with the cotton from the cottonwood trees. I think this is in midsummer? Julyish.
