OK, so we are going out for 10 days and can't take the old dog with us. He is very spoiled and is used to being well taken care of. I need a place to board him where I know he will be safe, happy, and well exercised. Does anyone have a suggestion?? I would sure appreciate a referal or two. Also if there is a place you would not send a pet you could let me know that too. Will consider kennels in Anchorage, Palmer, Wasilla or??? Thanks for the reply.

Default doggie daycare

We used to use Rabbit Creek Kennels since they have the big outdoor runs.

But now we bring in a dog care person during the day to keep the dog at home. We have been very pleased with Alyeska Paws (alyeskapaws.com) They will come morning, noon & night, feed, etc. They will even have someone stay at your house (for a fee of course!)

We have friends that have young college folks who move in while they are gone to dog sit & of course pay them.

If I had a small breed dog, I would use Pat's TLC Boarding who takes small breeds without cages or kennels. 562-5672

I used to broad my dog @ Lake Otis and Huffman, Sorry I could't remember the place name. It's been a while living away from Alaska. It's really easy to find. Take Lake Otis toward Huffman, it will be on your left hand side before you actaully get to Huffman. They charge 10 bucks a day. Hope it help.
