My husband started a job in Anchorage in June while I had a lot of things to take care of with the house and other issues in Illinois, but it's finally happening. Moving truck comes September 22nd, and I'll be leaving shortly after that to make the drive up to Anchorage.
Getting excited, now I just have to start really looking for jobs

We just made it ourselves in June. Arrived in Anchorage on July 2. So glad to be here finally after all the years of wishing!

We went through Jasper. Make sure to stop for a dip in Liard Hot Springs

Where did he get a job? All I am hearing about is mass lay offs. The only positions I see that are hiring are federal jobs for medical doctors and nurses.
