Yeah I know there are more pressing matters in the world... How is the fresh fruit and produse in Anchorage ? Are there any farmers markets? I used to shop at Fred Meyer's when I lived in Oregon - they were the 1 stop shopping pioneer back in the day, they had pretty good produse for day to day needs.

Oh I disagree. There are few matters more pressing than fresh produce in Alaska. In the interior it's all about the Tanana Valley Farmers Market and private hookups with hippie chicks for fresh organic eggs. I buy mine at... local brewery. I don't want to give up my source!!
