Towing a trailer would make that a very long day.

It took 19+ hours WH-ANC last summer due to construction delays and traffic. Wow but I'm never doing that drive in one day again unless it's in the winter.

Not made of money friend. No way I could afford my own trailer and there is no way I could drive from Whitehorse to Anchorage safely in one day. Way too many frost heaves and not enough daylight.

And unless you have to be in Anchorage right away, I wouldn't mess with trying to do it a day... Enjoy the journey. Stop in Tok at Fast Eddies and enjoy a meal.
We limped into Watson Lake on year with a flat on the Uhaul trailer. The mechanic was grumpy about it, but we got it fixed that next morning and got on our way.
Nice thing about Uhaul vs buying a trailer is when you are done you can just return it. My brother-in-law bought a trailer for the move up. Got here, unloaded and that next night a windstorm blew a tree down on it. Damage wasn't too bad, but he had to put a ridiculously low price on it to get it sold.

I bought a trailer to move up, then I sold it almost immediately upon arrival for more than I'd paid for it. So that worked out well. Bit of luck involved, though - I doubt it'd have gone for as much if I weren't out in the boonies where there's no quick retail options. Or if there hadn't been anyone around who just really needed a trailer right then!

Insurance is usually a good idea...

You gotta be doing something really wrong to haul a trailer up here and not at least break even.
