I was wondering if anyone has had experience buying Hemp CBD oil to be used for pain relief. I want the type you massage into your joints, not the kind you take orally. I have done some research and am looking for one that has high levels of CBD and low levels of THC. I've found things online but would rather deal with a reputable shop here in Anchorage.

Chilkoot you were right, I was able to get some CBD oil at Southside Garden Supply. It turns out they have a small branch store right on Old Seward just about a half mile from my house. I'll let everyone know if it works on my advanced arthritis.

Sorry, I meant to post the effectiveness of using the CBD oil, thanks for reminding me. Unfortunately the oil didn't seem to help my arthritis at all. This doesn't mean it might not help someone else or some other condition such as Fibromyalgia, it just didn't work for me.

I have not really heard that many good things about CBD unless you can get the right strain vs just a hemp CBD. I've been talking to some folks in MT (medical cann.) and they recommended growing and then making my own CBD oil.. One strain they recommended was Cannatonic - low TCH/high CBD. I can't find Cannatonic here, and probably have to order the seeds overseas, which I don't want to do. There is a woman in Wasilla that has a shop right on the Parks Highway, and she actually teaches how to make your own. She has worked with vets and people with pain. She might be able to help. I'd talk to some of the shops and see what they recommend for seed then grow your own, for your own need vs something generic. I hope we get to the point when we can buy this for medicinal purposes without all of the hassle-ing around. I'm making a trip to MT soon, and know someone with a card. I can't buy anything, but I've been trying to get advice.
