SC to AK part 2 (Craig: for sale, rentals, relocation)

I had previously posted (down below) about looking for rental properties. But seem to have lost my p/w for the site and had to make another user. (Auger1981)



We had secured a place to stay for a couple months starting Oct 1st, until we found a more permanent rental, however due to circumstances beyond our control, that fell through. So we are back to square one.


AKStafford was kind enough to provide a couple sources, thank you !!
We have checked, and continue to monitor Rentinthevalley.com.
I have looked into the FB groups you mention, but they are mainly for sale sites.


Are there any other sources anyone can think of for rental properties ??


Yes, I do use all the basic apps (Zillow, Refin, HotPads, Trulia, and a few more). Also looking over Craigs List, and Alaska's List, although I take those listings with a grain of salt.


We are looking for a reputable firm or realtor that specialize in relocation rentals.

When I've needed a place for just a couple of months, I've gone the Airbnb route. Ask the hosts if they have off-season monthly rates so you're not stuck with the high daily rates. Shouldn't be too hard to find something like that around October.
