Are you friggin kidding me? It used to be 25 bucks and you just wandered around on your own. And it was great.

Drive down, hike out as far as you want.

Now it's $150 per person for a two hour guided tour. No thanks, never again.

That's insanity.

Used to be free, right?
Now $50 for Alaskans. Still, we didn’t like the idea of waiting around for a guided hike with slow walking tourists so we did the Lions head hike. Spectacular views from up there on a nice day.

I think I went the last year that you could just wander around by yourself, in early September 2020. I went back and took a friend this past June and nearly had a stroke when I saw how much it cost.

Everything is wicked expensive in Alaska. We just went for the first and last time, and all the tours are too expensive for us.

Just curious. Did you do a cruise ship up south east Alaska or something else?

I was there in June and with a military discount, it was substantially discounted....less than $100. The tour was worthwhile.
