Hey,

Does anybody know where and what times there are firework shows?? We are new to the area and haven't found too much information on it. From random people, I've been hearing: Eagle River and Big Lake (Wasilla). Can someone confirm this?? If you can provide me a link that would be awesome. I would prefer to go down to Wasilla, Big Lake, but I can't find anything on what time it starts

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. It doesn't say what time the fireworks finale is.... Weird.

Do you know anything about the Wasilla area?

Truth be told, I have never been to a Summer Fireworks show in Alaska since we lived here. That's not to say we never lit a few bottle rockets of our own in the back 40. I'm talking about the big ones.
Growing up in the Lower 48, where we get real darkness in the Summer, makes it kinda hard to enjoy any summer fireworks celebration here.

I really enjoy the winter ones! North Pole puts on a pretty nice New Years Eve show!

Doesn't it have to be dark to enjoy a fireworks show?

From various sources, we heard/read it was going to be in downtown at: 6 pm, 10 pm... we came at 10 - turned out, it is actually at midnight .... which makes sense (so it will be a wee bit darker!), but the lack in information is so frustrating!

Didn't want to wait the 2 hours and left

Withen A Week To Go. I will see fireworks almost every night at second live in place 4 miles away from Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
