Bongo - I won't complain about the weather right now. At least it helps a newbie to the area without having to worry about the bad weather till I get more used to the area. I like cooler weather though.

warptman - that is not exactly what I was expecting, but it is an interesting story! I had friends that were into motocross in Colorado. They enjoyed it. I liked the street motorcycles myself though.

Don't worry TL551... you'll get your cooler weather! The frost was already on the proverbial pumpkin this morning with more to come, I'm sure. Hope you are enjoying Anchorage!

bongo - I did see frost on the car this morning when I woke up. One thing about it though, I will have a garage when I get into my house and won't have to scrape as much.

Default Welcome

Glad you made it up safe and sound. I got a lot of good stuff at cheap prices at 1. the Value Village (fund raising store for Big Brother/sisters) and 2. the Salvation Army. Both stores are located right next to each other at 501 E. Dimond BLVD. Value Village has a second store at 5437 E. Northern lights Blvd. Salvation Army has about 5 stores listed in the phone book. Gotta love a bargain

Cool! I actually live close to Dimond Dr. I live off of O'Malley west of Old Seward Highway. Thanks for the info.
