Remember the freeway in downtown Milwaukee, Wis that was half-built and then the project ran out of money in the late 70s? It was used as a prop in the "Blues Brothers" movie - remember the Pinto running off the edge of the freeway overpass?

Trump had some towers planned here in Atlanta too.

The Mandarin Oriental was also another big one that was either canceled or put on hold:

Boo economy!

By no means an architectural wonder, but would would of added some great density to the skyline and downtown residential population. Damn you recession.

The original Bank of the Southwest Tower design in Houston. Too bad it never came about.

I don't know their names but there are two towers in Philadelphia which are very similar to this design. What's in this proposed tower's place is very underwhelming to say the least. It would've been something like 1400+ ft. tall. An alternative design was also made (the two came out of a design competition) but it would've only been 1300 ft. tall.

Before I saw what you wrote at the bottom I immeadiately thought of Liberty 1 and 2

YEAH! It was supposed to be a taller version of the Liberty tower that has the spike on top (not sure if that's 1 or 2 - my guess is 1 )

Kidphilly : Chicagos skyline is so great that I haven't even noticed that tower before. I had clue they had a tower that looked like Liberty Place.

Alacran : do you know what the developer is going to do with the Waterview Tower?
